Boondoggles has become one- if not THE- best place to eat and drink in the Clear Lake area. I frequent the establishment almost nightly to enjoy the amazing food and drinks. The wait staff is always friendly and the bar tenders make you feel at home.

A good local place to have a beer and a pizza. I've never had a bad time here. Those who come from the NorthWest or other areas should learn to enjoy the local brews. Boonedoggles has good bartenders; they're always friendly.

HELLO!!??? You are blaming flat beer from the TAP on the bar? DUH. I am a bartender.....do you think Boondoggles has any control over the packaging and shipping of the beer? If you are going to be upset with anybody, you should be upset with your beloved Oregon brewery for shipping a flat product.

Recently had my wedding pre-dinner there with a host of relatives. We had no problem reserving seating for 30 early Saturday eventing. Service was great and we had a wonderful time. The pizza is to die for and the beer selection is wonderful. I keep my boat just down the street. Try their steak night. The steaks are very good and reasonably priced.

Very relaxed atmosphere. I was very surprised by the overall variety in the selection of drinks. I have tried the food and was pleased. The only disappointing factor was the wait staff. Don’t get me wrong, they all are gorgeous but attitudes stink. Maybe refresh the staff and get some girls that enjoy their job- or at least pretend for the TIP. Overall, my friends and I have a great time in our local pub!

The pizza is the best in Clear Lake hands down. The beer selection is impressive as well. Some of the waitresses have been very good, but I have also been served by some that must have been sucking on lemons behind the bar.

Boondoggle's has become an established part of the local Seabrook bar scene. It's been around for more than seven years, and it just keeps getting better. The bar and waitstaff are awesome, a bunch of really great people that make Boondoggle's a fun place to hang out. With almost a hundred beers to choose from, an awesome selection of specialty pizzas, and different food specials during the week, Boondoggle's is the place I like to spend a lot of my nights. And I hear they're going to be serving burgers soon! Can't wait for that.

I recently dined at Boondoggles and requested to speak with a manager, a bald man who seemed intoxicated claimed to be the manager on duty. When I voiced my complaints he was rude and belitted me. I have been going to Boondoggles for years based the waitstaff which has recently become all new faces none of which have impressed me nor made want to continue going to this establishment. Not only was the management disappointing, but the waitstaff which I did not recognize was as well.

I disagree that Jeff the manager runs the establishment well. Ever since he moved in the pizza crust got thinner and he is always seems snyde and a bit squirrley. He creeps me out personally-He seems so unproffessional and the waitresses look at him with total disrespect and they seem annoyed at his pressence. I bet working under that idiot is torture! I think at 44 or so thats the longest job he's ever had and that was at a year! way to go buddy! I thought the owners had more snap than to hire a such a unpersonable manager like him! What a fake personality! CHEESY!

When a beer goes flat, the bartenders don't always know. If certain beers do not sell, they go flat. Beer goes flat; that is a fact. All the bar staff can do is try to satisfy your needs by supplying another of your favorite brews. I have been served a flat beer on a couple occasions, but the staff has always been extremely helpful in getting me another non-flat beer. I have no complaints with this because there is nothing that can be done to prevent flat beers, and I think it's silly to complain about service when it's really the beer that's the problem, not the employees.

I've seen a lot of pubs, and this is one of the best. The bartender knows about all 80-something of the beers backwards and forwards, and the waitresses are friendly and beautiful. I do miss some of the great Northwestern microbrews, but they do have a lot of west coast and colorado beers on tap, as well as an amazing european selection.

I am a displaced Oregonian living in Houston. My regular haunt for a pint is Boondoggles. Here is the problem. Over the past year, on a frequent basis, they have served me both Full Sail Pale Ale and Full Sail Amber, for which they have on tap, as flat as can be. Indeed last Friday (December 19), I went for a Pale Ale (as opposed to my regular Amber) and sure enough is was flat. I had others around the table taste and confirm this. I sent it back and asked instead for an Amber. Guess what, it was flat also. Again, I have others confirm this. When I told the waitress, who claimed to relay the info to the manager, nothing happened. Obviously they don't care and this is a recurring theme. Just to make sure, I had an Amber from a bottle at home last nite. As someone who is very proud of Oregon beers, and especially Full Sail which I visit often when I go to see my parents in Hillsboro (yes we make the trek down the Gorge), I find it disgraceful that Boondoggles does not have pride to serve their beers as they should be served. This is bad for the Full Sail brewery, this is bad for the customers. I could not find an email from them, and I don't know whom their distributor is. I have decided to boycott this pub as I won't give them buisness any longer.

Still my fave place to hang! Awesome steak nites on Mondays-- and the service can't be beat! Still has the best bar-back in town! ::wink:: He knows who he is. :) Friendly atmosphere, great food, excellent selection, and top-notch staff. Just when I thought there was nothing of worth in the Clear Lake area? This is the place.

I went here for the first time recently and it is a great place. I was a little disappointed that they did not brew any of their own beers anymore which is the cause of my rating of "good" for quality. However the bartenders were super friendly and the waitresses were beautiful. Good crowd and live band. Lots of micro on tap and if you like stouts that have them all. Definetly will be back!

Suprisingly good beer selection. Very relaxed atmosphere on Clear Lake. Didn't try the food yet, but many people were eating the special of the day. I will go there again and again and again. Perhaps the best place in South Houston.
